How does your rooster crow?

"Trigger" is now 5 months old. We've established that he's probably an "amber". The girls are red sex links, but he has a buff colored mane?
Here's a picture of him at about 4 months.

He's really sweet, but geez, get a voice!

Until yesterday, I had 5 roosters that made all of the normal expected noises REAL LOUD. Now the only expected noise from four of them will now be sizzling noises. The remaining rooster is loud enough, but in order to have fertile eggs for hatching next spring I guess we'll have to put up with it.

My Welsummer, Handsome, sounds like he is gargling.

The two Polish *free to a good home* have the most cockadoodle do-like crow.

The two cuckoo marans have a good crow, but ends with an intake of breath that sounds like a growling 'ahhhhhhhhhhh'.

I've told this story before, but it's been awhile.
When the chickens were young and still living on the screened porch right outside our bedroom window, my SO heard a strange noise early one morning. I felt him jump up and heard him go and open the back door. When he came back I asked what was the matter? He said he thought he heard our outside dog "strangling". He said the dog was okay. Couple minutes goes by, he jumps up again. I heard him talking to our inside dog in the living room. He comes back to bed and tells me he's still hearing this strangling noise, but both dogs are fine.
Couple more minutes go by and he says "There! there! That's the noise! Do you hear it???" I listened and sure enough I hear it. It was our alpha rooster. He was just learning to crow.

My speckled sussex Pants sez, "errRRRRrrrRERRRR" -- fairly musical, over about an octave, with the final RERRRR falling off to a lower note. Not your stereotypical 'movie rooster' crow, but good by me

His brother Itchy does not crow at all, as I expect he knows what Pants would do to him if he tried.

The buff chantecler has only crowed a few times, a rather furtive, croaking, single-note "rrr rrr rrr rrr". Poor thing. He is kinda a loser with the ladies, too.

My cochin roo has the classic Cockadoodledoooooo!!!!! But my Delaware Blue rooster is so funny! He started out sounding JUST LIKE a new years party horn...one tone, no variance in the tone at all! Everytime he would do it, we would yell HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! LOL

...even now when I think about it I crack up! Now he still sounds like a party horn, just Derr-Der-Der (pause) Derrrrrr!!!!

My cochin does the wheezing thing after too!!!!!

What a fun thread!
