How early do Roosters crow?

A little odd. I've heard from most sources that cockerels crow at 6-8 weeks. But from the picture, Mortimer may be a good name to consider.
 
Of course NOW that i’ve Put it out there on the internet...not a peep from Morticia. I sat there with my iPad recording...just waiting to see if I could catch the sound so that i could post it for your opinions...NOPE, not gonna happen. Thank you all for the info...I’ll keep you posted.
 
You can look on youtube, but I've seen videos of week old cockerels trying to crow. So, yea... yours is probably a cockerel.

Ok...now that i’ve Checked it out on YouTube (wing flapping included) I know what my little girl was doing was crowing. Furthermore....i have to think of a new name for HIM...and i have to stop calling him Morticia.
