Ok Steve; I know your weather has to be like ours (Eastern KY), so what do you have planted already? Tell me, tell me, tell me! My thumb is not green, so I need some veggies that will put up with me, such as; green peppers, green onions, potatoes. tomatoes, cucumbers, things like that.

Our weather is probably alot milder than yours, we are about an hour 1/2 from the ocean and between two good sized rivers so the water tends to keep it warmer. We still have spinach, mustard greens, kale and collards growing from the fall. We had lettuce but the snow got that (didn't go and cover it like we should have) We can pretty much do a year round garden here.

It was a decent year.Loved ones are all alive and well. All bills got paid.We got along well. For the next year I am just hoping for better health, getting along with those we are in contact with, and paying off a lot more debt.

No one won the mega lotto so that is up to 290mil. Not sure if I will spend more money chasing THAT dream.

2010 had a lot of changes for us. We had to go from Military to Civilian life and that's been interesting. Living in our first single family house complete with a section of picket fencing. This year we plan on buying one instead of renting. Was a good year. Looking forward to this next one.

2010 was pretty good for me. I joined this awesome site and met some awesome people, who have become great friends. Hubby and I finally got to buy our house, so we don't have to worry about when the landlord is going to decide we have to move. The kids love their chickens and are doing great in school. I finally got on a daylight shift at work so I can actually see my husband and kids everyday, not just 45 minutes in the morning.

2011 can only get better as we foray into showing and breeding and selling chickens. Hubby and I celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this year, and while it hasn't always been roses, I love him more everyday and couldn't imagine being with anyone else. I also turn 30 this year and I am actually looking forward to it.

Really, really crappy. My mother was found to have several growths in her lungs. She is in treatment and is also having treatment to help with radiation therapy damage from cervical cancer 3 years ago. I hate it when she is ill and much prefer if it was me.
