My White Leghorns lay huge eggs too and keep laying when the others have slacked off. My Rhode Island White layers are pretty much the same and lay nice brown eggs pretty consistently when others aren't laying well especially when molting.

2 times, my hens have laid "monster eggs." 128 grams! The egg had a yolk and an entire other egg inside of it. It's fascinating!
