Shoot it. If firearms cannot be fired in your area get a nice silent air rifle. They do a great job on predators. Problem solved. If you're squeamish try a live catch trap then call animal control to dispose of it. Fox are difficult to catch in a live catch trap. Easiest way is to shoot it. If you can't do that, soon or later you're going to loose your chickens. Just the way it is.

They can climb trees if the branches are low enough or the trunk is bent. Nowadays you just about have to cover the chicken pen with netting or the like.
