How I started out to buy cat litter and came home with a new rifle.

my DH did that once........

Bought a desel truck on impulse, when I was at a dog show in NY.

......he'll never do that again.

But, getting the .22, now thats money well spent!

Actually I inherited it from my Dad who was forever doing stuff like that. Once he took his car in to the dealer's to be serviced, as soon as it was all done and paid for he traded it for a new one. Every spring he's take his lawn mower in for a tune-up before the season and come back with a new one--trouble was, until I graduated from HS and left it was always a bigger push type. Once I moved out he got a rider.

Nope, it's always the gallon of Milk I forget. And I have to sneak in the new rifle to the cabinet. Once the DW sees me pulling it out of the cabinet, she thinks it's one I've had all the time. I once bought a Toz 1701 Russian 22LR military training rifle and the DW joined me for target shooting, shot it and didn't realize she hadn't seen it before. LOL

BTW, went up and picked up the cat litter today--that's all I came home with but I did drop our newspapers off at the SPCA on the way.

Mwahahaha... one distinct advantage to the landlord calling in the tree guys... squirrels are going nuts!

See this is precisely why the only stores I go in are grocery stores... worst case I overspend and we end up with extra food... not exactly a hardship... well, that's not entirely accurate... Kroger marked their Christmas stuff half off so I grabbed three board games and tucked them away for next Christmas... Apples to Apples, Kerplunk and Uno Tip thingie... good prices and a sconch less stress next year... but I swear that's it... Oh look, a 10 pound bag of potatoes for $1 with a coupon for 55c off... ahem...

Show of hands... has anyone on here spend $100 OR MORE in a single visit to an Everything's $1 Store... two buggies... glaring people in line behind you... the whole enchilada... or was that just me??

Of course, you know she does that with new dresses. "Oh this old thing?"
Oh wait, I'm not supposed to tell men about that...

All well and good until you find them in the bottom of the closet the day after Christmas.
