I had a Japanese bantam Roo that got into a bag of Calf Mana... He ate so much that it was backed all the way up his throat. I used warm water to soften the feed some more but i never squirted it down his throat. I softened it then slowly had to work it back up his throat. I also used a q-tip to help grab it out when it got up to the back of his mouth since it was pretty compacted, he didn't mind much though.
It took me around an hour and a half to clear his throat and most of his crop.... Last time I left a bag of Calf Mana open and unattended!!
