how is this for a heritage RIR

If he came from Dicks stock he is good and also will need time to mature fully (year and a half to two years) I have his line and it is a very good line. I will say that you will have to work on the comb of your rooster. He look to be missing his Spike.

D&S Farms :

lol wonder where it went. will it come with age? he ant even crowing yet

It is in the Genetics if he doesn't have one he isn't going to but bred to a hen with a good comb you will be alright.

Dick has some of the best Red you are going to get. I say this because I have his stock and I been good friends with Dick for about 8 to 10 years now and have seen his stock.
Even with the spike of the comb off your bird he is still a good bird.

Great type minus the spike on the comb but he is definnetely a bird that I would work with. Get yourself some hens for him and hatch chicks. You don't see many RC's as nice as him!
