My girls are enjoying the sun. Under their favorite tree having a "dust" (dirt) bath right now.

My Faverolles pullet is getting ready to lay a egg, at 9 months old. Once she starts laying, we will have only one free loader.

She really needs to get busy, I should let her know its obvious shes not laying, being the ONLY white egg layer in a flock of brown layers. There is NO Hiding Mrs. Clairee

I think that the California White's are supposed to be a cross of a White Leghorn and a Black Australorp.

She was sold as a California white, she is white with black spots and a brown overcast over her head and chest

she might just be dirty, wont know til the summer. too cold for a bath now. We shall see

I searched California white across this sight and found more than one "cali white" with an weird overcast color
