How is your flock today?

@416bigbore Have you started a batch of hatching egg's going yet?
Hello, Sorry for my delay. I did pick up the incubator and its a little giant 9200 model. It is old school and does have the fan, but maybe the fan was added?

I plugged it in to see if it was going to work or not? I placed the humidity and temp gauge in there just to see what would happen. It warmed up to 118F with 15% humidity and no fan working after three hours, but the egg turner seemed to be working.

I went and picked up a new fan and need to put it in so I can recalibrate it and put the eggs in that I have been collecting and see what happens. :)

The Little Giant Still Air (item #9200) is the same one that I have been using, then. I have the automatic turner also that fit's it (item #6300). 118F is way too hot, and did you add some water to raise the humidity? Temp should be 99.5 to 100F, and humidity at 40 to 45%.

O wow same machine, that is to funny. Yes 118F is way to hot, I know that and the humidity needed to rise also. Once I noticed the fan wasn't working, I didn't go any farther with messing with the humidify.

I will put the new fan in it tonight yet and try to get the humidity right to set eggs tomorrow. I must have two dozen by now that I have been turning daily to get ready for the incubator.

I will keep you posted. :)

Have you checked where the fan is to see if it got clogged up with dust or something?

Ruby's hanging in their after her crop surgery yesterday.. not doing super well though.. she almost seems like she could be eggbound but felt twice and can't feel anything. Don't know what to do. She won't eat. I'm syringing her nutridrench. I don't know. I just want her to be okay I feel like I've done everything.

I just found the problem. The fan was wired wrong and now I have it all working and going to calibrate it, then put the eggs in! :wee :ya:yesss:

I'm glad that you were able to get it figured out. Now you can either return the new one, or keep it for a spare.
