I love these things. Come spring all the girls got one on. Right now just the ahem, older gals need them. Feathers just are not what they used to be ♡♡♡ I totally get it.

No I totally understandable why you do it. We have a few Isa Brown hens whose feathers are looking a little rough. Kung Pao is not mean or overly rough with his girls, it's just the way it is I guess.

At the risk of asking a heretical question... is there such a thing as a clean legged Brahma? I know the feathers on the legs would end up being a mess here.

I like the look of the feathered legs, but I don't want to set myself up for a messy problem.
