I have three young chickens born in May that I incubated in my classroom and now am keeping in my back yard, one rooster and two hens. They are bantams - the rooster and one hen, a frizzle, are Cochins and the other hen is a Belgian d'Uccle. They are all devoted to each other and are pretty much just pets and we are enjoying them immensely. We do wonder when we might see some eggs at this point. The hens' combs have turned pink and they crouch if I put my hand on them. The rooster does nothing except crow in the morning and stick close to his girls but doesn't try to get on them. Any thoughts?
