How long after hatching help

Hi, just had 1 of my runner ducks hatch been up and down all night and still missed it. Just wanted to know how long should I leave it in the incubator? I have 2 other pipped eggs no hole in them just tiny pips. It’s knocking them around is that ok?

Well, it been a few hours since he posted this, you can definitely take it to out by now.

I take hatched ducklings out sooner rather than later because as you mentioned they tend to jostle the other babes around which often disorients them.

thanks I have taken it out. Happy with its teddy under the heat lamp. I have 4 eggs left in the incubator 2 have pipped 2 have not. Today is day 28 should they all pop today if they are going to? All live and well at lock down

Your just going to have to wait an watch they love to take their sweet time and make you sweat. 28 days means nothing to a Duckling can be even day 29-30
