How Long After Treating for Lice Before Egg Production Returns?

I have about 45-50 laying hens and have noticed their egg production drop significantly over the past few weeks. Check them and you guessed it...LICE!!! I will be treating them this afternoon and again in 7-10 days. What I'm wondering is how long after I get rid of the Lice will egg production increase? Anyone know???

It depends how badly they've been stressed. Dont forget to treat inside their coops/nests/roosts.

I'm suspecting some if the new flock I obtained about a month ago has lice. It would be the only last resort as to why they aren't laying! Though I'm not sure how or why mites effect their egg production...? Does anyone know? Also how many weeks do you have to toss out eggs due to the lice chemicals?
