How long are you supposed to use chick feed and weather ?

My silkie is 5 weeks old and I think the other two are probably 6-7 weeks old. I was just wondering when I'm supposed to take them off of chick feed? We also just moved them outside to their coop. Its a lowes playhouse and lately its been pretty cold in the evenings and mornings. We have the heat lamp out but should I take it away now or let it stay out for a while?

I believe you switch from "starter" or chick feed, to "grower" at 8 weeks.

I might be buying an 11 week old hen and a roo. Will it be okay to put them all together at once in the coop? Will they be able to eat the grower food with the youngest ones? Or do they need to be on something entirely different?
