How long can an egg be cold?

I went out to let my girls out this morning, and saw that my broody hen wanted to come out for a bit. I opened the nest boxes to make sure there weren't any extra eggs in her brood (because she set up shop in the most popular nest box)... and one of the eggs was off to the side under some straw. It was very cold to the touch. I don't know how long it was lost in the straw... could have been overnight. I candlelit it on Sunday Oct. 30th and saw movement in the egg. Today, Nov. 4th will be day #19 - I candlelit it after leaving under mom to warm up a bit, but didn't see movement. Saw little wings in there... hoping someone with more experience can give me advice/hope/ease my mind... *fingers crossed*
Thanks in advance!

It should be fine. I've had eggs out from under the hen for a full 24 hours and they hatched fine...maybe just a bit late. Just stick it back under her and hope for the best.
