How long can baby chicks survive in the mail????

It's horrible. This morning, I made arrangements. I'm going right into the warehouse (30 miles away in a bigger town) where the mail arrives and I'm picking up my chicks right there. Then I'll go to my local PO (7 miles away) and give them the box so they can do the arrival scan.

That's pretty crazy that if you pick it up you still have to take it to your PO for the arrival scan! Good grief.

I would take some water and either sugar or sav a chick or similar product to administer on site. Also something to keep them warm,a filled hot water bottle wrapped in a pillowcase will work.

Have you contacted warehouse where chicks are currently,perhaps someone there can open box and check chicks.

The mail needs to do a better job. I mean how hard is it to mail stuff to the right place

you do it every day with letters but when its a package it gets lost just wow
