I was out of town for 5 weeks and my son did not clean Eggs! Most do not have a lot of poo on them but some do. How long will they keep with and without the poo? Our basement is chilly, usually 65F or under, and the eggs were not refrigerated.
I generally feed the really dirty ones that have sat a few days to the girls, but right now I’m not sure what to do.
This is my first post on backyard chickens and I have nine in my little flock, so the eggs have really piled up. Thanks!

You shouldn’t wash your eggs until you’re right about to eat them; not washing off the bloom helps them last way longer. They heavily soiled eggs I rinse and feed (cooked) to my dogs or back to the chickens. But your regular eggs shouldn’t be washed right away - the clock starts ticking as soon as you do that, and washed eggs mush be refrigerated.

I'd rather not risk it and would not eat any heavily soiled eggs (if I had just picked them up, freshly laid, then I'd wash them off and put them at the front of the line).

Oh yes... forgot to add "front of the line in the refrigerator" if you wash them off. 😅 Thanks to the other replies for reminding me!
