Thank you!!! I just have the one Barred Rock and between her and the Silkies they are the sweetest, most docile of all 26 birds. She has totally thrown me for a loop. Yesterday I was sitting outside and she just laid down on the grass by me. Her eyes really didn't look very good.She's the heaviest and healthiest of the rest of the flock but the eyes and her actions, she was really getting slower. I noticed she's not laying often at all lately. Today she is going broody at 5 years old!?!?!?!?!?? I'll watch her and be sure she's not just trying to lay but so far she has the eggs under her so I'm at a loss.
