One of our oldest hens is a Midget White that is 5 or 6 years old, she still lays. However, turkeys lay best and are the most fertile the first laying season. You should get 95% + fertility, by about the 3rd year the fertility goes way down, 50% or less. We have a few "special" turkeys that we have kept over the years but for the most part we rebuild our laying flock every 2 years.
