How long do you keep a breeding pair of utility birds

Thanks for replies. Now that you mention it I have had eggs kicked out of the nest and pretty sure it was the Texan’s how do the Hubble’s work out never raised those? And by the way that sure looks good laying in that plate
I really enjoy them they are great producers. And there are lots of color in them.

Jlfarm I just noticed we are practically neighbors. I live in Youngsville. Is the Hubble a pretty big bird? Do you ever have any extras you can sell sometimes? I actually have a White King and a Texan that mated up and they have produced some big birds. I would like to get some Hubble’s in there to.

Wow look at that it’s a small world lol. The Hubble is a strain of king pigeon I find the produce better and are roughly the same size as a king. I don’t have any now but am hoping for springtime. But if you wanted some now I do know some breeders that have some in the area one in oppalusas.

Thanks but I am going through chemo treatments right now so I really can’t mess with my birds much. My sister has been taking care of my chickens and pigeons. I will be finishing up my treatment in December so spring time would probably be good if I can earlier I get in touch with you thanks again.

You’re welcome and sorry to hear that but good to hear your finishing it up
