It is about 60cm (that's approx. 2ft

) high and I know for a fact my light sussex can do it. The silkes, I'm not too sure. I constructed this today to stop them from wandering into the neighbour's yard. Also, to stop pooping near the clothesline

I have 5 hens roaming my duck pen which is only 3feet tall with no roof. It took them until they had scratched out all the grass in that area before they ventured out.
 
hehehehe.... They have probably figured it out already- they just want to lull you into a false sense of security and when you least expect it, hop over for a long explore! Your back yard is so gorgeous- I love the tree with the twisty trunk! So fabulous! Have a great day!
