Thanks. I was worried for a long time! Now I just have to go up to the farmers market on Tuesday and try to find him a friend. He's a little pain in the butt though! He gets out of everythign we put him in, and he wants to be with you 24/7.

I think his/her name is going to be Freddie. It works for either gender, and it really fits.

Well, he died this morning. I don't understand it though, he was strong and running around. He was eating and drinking, and he was pooping. At 1:30 in the morning, he was fine, then at 5:30 he was dead. I miss him already.

Sorry for the loss of your duck. It is hard when you think you have saved them and then die. I suspect he might have picked up an infection through the yoke area before it sealed off. From that location it would spread very rapidly.
