How long does males "stuff" stay in hen"?

Hi, I've just recently sold all of my chickens except for my Sumatra's. So now I have all pure bred hens and male, but I was wondering how long I should wait before I let her sit on her eggs/incubate them? I know other roosters were with her before they were sold.

A hen *can* produce fertilized eggs for weeks from just one covering ...... many folks wait 30 days to consider a hen clear

Nature makes it nice for keepers too, even if I lose my rooster iv'e got a decent amount of time before he's gone for good.

I haven't taken pictures in a while, but they are beautiful . Especially my peafowl. My Blackshoulder lost his tail, but his new one is already about 3 feet long and growing. My hens have started laying again too. I thought they were done for the year. I'll wait till I get several and put them in the incubator and see if they are fertile.
