How long should crop medication take to work?

I am using metaclopramide and lactulose solutions from avian vet and have done it 3 days now and her crop is still full. She was a lot perkier earlier which is an improvement but now later in the day she seems really quiet. Does anyone have experience with these medications? I am supposed to keep using them until her crop is empty in the morning but is it supposed to take this long?

I am familiar with buccal cavity oral thrush encounter last year with my roo and I was using Clotrimzole & fluconazole trust me these drugs are just Fancy Antifungal .
My roo didn't get any relief from them he gets better with fennel oil and moringa supplimentry dosing its like magic .

He does develop a slow crop with Clotrimzole but fennel oil clear everything within 2 weeks

One of my geese was prescribed lactulose and metaclorpromide when his digestion slowed during his first bout with pancreatitis.

Lactulose pretty much causes the digestive system to flush itself, metaclorpromide stimulates muscle contractions in the intestine.
I can see that they could help improve digestion with slow or sour crop maybe, but not as likely with an impacted crop, if she’s clogged up whatever’s in there will probably need to be surgically removed. As I understand it the vet makes a small incision and uses some forceps to pull whatever’s stuck in there out, so it’s not as big a deal as it sounds.

By the way what kind of bird is it? Chicken, duck, goose, or other?

A chicken. I don't think it's impacted crop because it doesn't feel hard

How much do you use?

If u use sweet fennel oil 1 drop in glass of water .
Moringa (Powder ) 1 pinch dilute in 2tbsp water (once a day)
Tablet 500mg tab spilt in half give half piece daily for 2-3 weeks
