I'll blame it on being a guy... we don't squat!! lol

I have 4 pullets. Three are laying. One laid her first egg six days after her first squat, one laid 2 weeks after her first squat, one never squatted before she started laying (and never has since) and my last little EE started squatting last month right after Thanksgiving but hasn't laid an egg yet. So, I would say it varies from bird to bird!
