How long will it be.......

after a broody hatches her babies before she will then resume egg laying? How long will she most likely want to care for her chicks before she says she is done? Just curious what to expect from my momma hen, this is still new for me. Thanks!

They wont usually start back laying until the have raised thier chicks.

One of my hens took about 2 months. My silkie took about 1 week so I guess it can vary.
