How long you were engaged till you got married???

Me and my wife met in 95 at the elementary school I had to teach at as part of my high school job. Since I had a lot of Hispanic students I needed her to tutor me. I had a girlfriend and didn't give my wife a second thought until I got tired of my girlfriend. I wasn't even looking for a relationship when we went on our first date (96). We fell in love and I proposed on April 1st, 1997 (yes April fool's day and there is a story just too long). We got married in Nov. 98 (on my ex girlfriends birthday, not my doing) and had our 1st son Nov. 99

Three years later...I am still engaged. My choice though so I am not complaining.

We dated for 4 months, were engaged for two, Still going strong and it will be tweleve years in the fall.

2 months? Not very long. We have been married almost four years now. Doesn't seem possible!

Together for 10 years, engaged for 7 months, married for five years! 15 years! That's almost half my life with him! Good thing he likes chickens (he sneaks them treats).

Sort of met in November 1995 (he was a dork), really met in June 1996 while working together at a summer camp, engaged December 18, 1996 and married by my dad in our living room on December 31, 1996! He is the love of my life and I wouldn't be the same without him!

. all in 6 weeks. going on 39 years this Sept.
still crazy for each other .. and there where those that said it wouldnt last. LoL
Oh 5 great kids that always made us proud.

5 years before we got married , figured if he was still alive after the 5 years it was meant to be, we have been married now all most 12 years, <sigh> 17 years total.

Met on a military aircraft in Desert Storm. I was stationed in Germany and he was stationed in NJ. We knew each other about 8 months before we got married BUT it was only the third time I saw him in person. That was almost 18 years ago. No regrets!
