How many chickens do you own?

10 white leghorn hens
1 barred rock rooster
3 silver duckwing hens and 1 rooster
3 old english whites hens and 2 roosters
2 fawn duckwing hens and a rooster
And two silver duckwing chicks! A hen and a rooster!

I only have 8. My coop comfortably fits 12. I plan on breeding my frizzle with the barred rock across the street. I plan on keeping 2 females I hatch.

I had 13 sweeties and 2 duckies. When I purchased the ducks, I was told they were Mallards -- not. Upon investigation, I found out that they are Cayuga ducks. Very pretty! Then I have 5 Rhode Island Reds, 2 White Rocks, 4 Columbian Rocks, and 2 Americaunas. I am down to 12 -- one of my Rhode Island Reds disappeared. We called her Henpeck because the other chickens picked on her. She was also an escape artist, got out and disappeared.

I got the Rhode Island Reds and the 2 ducks last year. I added the Rocks and Americaunas this April. To my surprise, one Columbian and one Americauna were roosters. The Americauna rooster is beautiful!

My father in law just shoved 2 cherry eggers and 2 brahmas in my coop last Friday. I am still trying to recover from this insult. Bad man. The number one reason EVER to padlock your coop and run.

28 assorted hens, one VERY SURE OF HIMSELF 3.5 mth old OEG bantam roo named Murray and 3 ducks. 17 more than I'm allowed by ordinance.... be very quiet.

We have 2 Red pullets and 3 Brahmas and 1 Orpington and 2 ducks and we love each and every single one of them We love them like a part of the family!
