That's small even for chickens!Turkeys need a lot of space to stay healthy. I think the school recommended a 2 sq ft per bird.

Absolutely!!I can't speak for others but I find having extra facilities like a coop with its own run, a shelter without nests, or just places in the coop I can isolate a chicken to give me a lot of flexibility in managing my chickens. Having an available brooder, broody buster, grow-out coop, or just a place to isolate a chicken can reduce my stress levels tremendously when something happens.
Lol, 2 of my medical case roos are occupying 2 of them right now, they are awesome in a pinch.Absolutely!!
These crates have been lifesaver here.
Lol, considering I'll have 33 by the end of the week I'm going to incoporate one then, makes too much sense.I can't speak for others but I find having extra facilities like a coop with its own run, a shelter without nests, or just places in the coop I can isolate a chicken to give me a lot of flexibility in managing my chickens. This is less important if you just have a handful of hens in a small backyard coop/run though something could come in handy, but if you are breeding, hatching, integrating something extra can be rally handy.
