How many different age chicks in one breeder?

I hatch no more than 4 days apart and mix them. Never went any more than that.

2 weeks is usually my limit unless the older chicks are a bantam, and the new chicks are standard.
I have done 3 weeks with bantams. Standard chicks grow so much faster, and have trampled some smaller bantams in my experience.

I would just keep an eye on them, and make sure it doesn't get out of hand. you could also put some boxes or large branches in the run for the smaller chicks to hide in.
