I removed some potato plants from the veggie-bed, where they had overwintered, yesterday and harvested my first spring potatoes. Never planted potatoes in the plot so i have no clue how they got there, but i assume having potato-weeds is a good thing for food security?
Anyways, i decided to break my vicious dependency on Cheese, Ham, Salami and Dux-Egg sandwiches for breakfast and cook up a meal that a farmer would have before heading outside and do some challenging physical labour:
Pan fried spring potatoes with burnt Salami and Ham, glued together into a tasty mass with four (!) Dux-Eggs.
Also i am again out of boiled dux-eggs…
And the challenging work must wait because this was a challenge to my digestive system that exhausted me. And i have to attend a couple of calls…
