How many duck eggs did you get today?

7 eggs! Though, 1 was smashed, so.. 6 eggs to use.

5 eggs this morning!
I locked them in the coop last night to teach them to lay in there instead, 4 eggs were in the nest and 1 was not and in a random spot.

Yes, though I did have 1 new layer lay in the late morning yesterday.

1 of the girls I attained last year was a new layer at the time, and she would always lay in the afternoon. Come this spring, she stopped laying for a few weeks, and has resumed laying in the early morning since!

Okay! Good to know! I didn't know if that was just my ducks or not.
I've been out there before 8 and everyone would have already laid.
Although I have had someone lay a bit later, out somewhere while free ranging since I've found eggs in a little nest that was made.

Mine seem to, most of the time. I do find the occasional egg later either in the yard or even in the nesting boxes, but most time they are all waiting for me in the morning.

Back to just one today. My total *did* go up to 8 yesterday when I moved a bag of shavings and found one back there.

Yup! My chickens usually lay later, I always collect theirs in the afternoon.
