I have 6 hens and 1 tiny OEGB roos I have 20 ducks and 2 of those are drakes one 8 yrs old the other troublesome boy is a little over one and is on house arrest with his 4 lovely Runners.[Just kidding] but I do have him in another area with the girls until hopefully sometime in Sept. Not because of the hens but because he is just too rough on some of the older Runner females. My chickens have never been thought of in a sexual manner from any of my drakes including my Muscovy that I lost this past March
and I dare not forget Missy my Goose.

thanks i am hoping my 2 little youngster drakes don’t bother my 3 giant hens because they have 18 lovely lady ducks to choose from lol

I got four yesterday so I guess Ripley is laying. I put some fake eggs around where I found them to keep them laying in the same spot. Nerds, they pick new spots if I take their eggs.

I think something snuck into the coop last night. There were SEVEN eggs in the nest box! With a very broody scovie on them. Those were not there yesterday!

6 yesterday and 5 this morning!

They started laying in the run again so guess I have to re-train them to lay in the coop. I saw a snake going into the coop one night, and the next night the golf balls I had in the nest were gone...so maybe he's still around and that's why they aren't laying in there.
