How many duck eggs did you get today?

I got 6 but one in a puddle and another full of mud so they got cooked up for the dogs and they were happy about it.

My Dear how old are your Ducks now?? I keep thinking that my older Rouen Ducks are not laying yet sometimes my numbers seem off for how many could lay. I got 6 yesterday and I have the one setting on eggs so she is not able, a Mule not able, I thought the two older were not yet I only have 9 Hens and the numbers don't add up.

My Muscovy are going to be 11 and 12 yrs old this month and July my Runners and Buffs just turned 7 yrs this past week. The Runners and Buffs just started back laying for this season and only 4 sometimes 3 out of 8 females. The Muscovy really surprised me and before they quit laid a total of 12 eggs. None since.

Thanks for letting me know. Maybe my Rouen Ducks have not quit. I am not sure exactly how old they are but think at least 6 or 7 which made me figure they had quit. I appreciate your information.

It's just hard to know I was pretty positive mine was not going to lay at all this year since it was getting so late already. They surprised me.
