How many eggs are in your fridge?

Yeah, we've been on a breakfast burrito kick for the last few months. I use whatever leftover meat there is from the previous days dinner, saute some onions and mix with scrambled eggs then add grated cheese--super yummy with sour cream and bbq sauce. The bbq sauce sounds wierd I know. We got started on it one day when the leftover meat was pulled pork. The family likes them cold too so they go in lunches and on fishing/hunting trips too.

I know what you mean about wanting to stare at the eggs instead of eating them. I'm having a flashback to those days even though we have more then we can use right now. My latest batch of pullets just started laying in the last couple of weeks and I just love looking at the different colors and how tiny (except for the occasional super owie double yolker) and perfect they are. I'm going to hardboil the dz. that are in the fridge now--the kids like them in their lunches and I can look at them longer that way.

One dozen in the fridge that are the first full dozen that I'm proudly giving away to the person who built my coop. I've had more eggs than that, but hadn't actually accumulated a full dozen. I have three extra for myself. And, of course, hopefully more tomorrow

Started the day with 15 dozen, gave 10 dozen to our neighbors who have 8 kids and love eggs.

now I have 7 dozenish. Time to drip some off at the food pantry.

Wow I was doing the happy dance because I've been getting 5-6 eggs a day and we've been using them pretty steady and I still have 18 eggs in the fridge (with more to come today). But after reading the posts before me...I don't have a whole lotta eggs at all.

Maybe I need more chickens...(chicken math working here).... LOL

Of course I am trying to feed a family of 8 with one son who thinks "just one egg" is an insult! ..

Wow - You all either must have big refrigerators or not much else in them.

I try to keep maybe 7 or 8 eggs in the fridge. After that, I dole them out. My mother in law goes bananas over them. And sometimes I'll send some home with the kids' friends for their mothers. Ha!

I don't have enough eggs to sell, but a few too many for our use.

I have 4 dozen in the fridge minus the 10 we ate this morning, Has taken me awhile to want to give them away, finaly broke down and gave some to neighbor and father in law. I love my eggs!
