How many eggs can a broody bantam hatch?

It’s going great! I actually stuck 8 standard sized Ameraucana eggs under her. I ordered 6, got 8. I only had one broody and no incubator and thought why not give it a go… well all 8 are showing signs of development, it’s now day 6!

I’m hoping to put my eggs under my (now) 3 broody hens
Last time I ordered 12 and 15 were sent…

Well today is hatch day for my broody bantam Cochin and she has 7 standard sized Ameraucana eggs. We started with 8, one was deemed infertile on day 10 (I thought I saw something at first) cracked it and it was just a yolk! Today, 6/7 have fully hatched! Just one last egg hasn’t pipped yet so we’ll see by tomorrow! Even if the last egg doesn’t hatch, I would definitely say 6/7 is an amazing hatch rate, especially for them being sent all the way from Oklahoma to me here in California!
