I had a new goose egg in the other nest today. Woohoo. She took to it.

Yay for broody gooses!! so now you have 2? when is hatch day?

The 28th is the 28th say. So sometime after that. The other goose is still laying but she's starting to act broody. She has 9 eggs. I have two other females that haven't laid an egg yet.

Sounds like you'll be up to your ears in gosling this year if they all go broody.

I hate to burst your bubble but chicken wire won't keep out predators.

By the way. Two geese layed today. One layed this afternoon. Just not sure which one it was. I have two Canadians as well. Hoping to raise some from them.
