How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I feel so blessed! I am getting 2 eggs from my 12 pullets! They are small but soooo cute..and they taste even better!

I only got TWO eggs today!

I have 18 hens that should be laying but they're not!!

I got 2 eggs out of 5 banty hens and 4 eggs from 23 BA's.

. Getting ready to gear up for more!

2 out of 6. Been getting 2 eggs a day, they just started laying last week.

...I haven't had an egg from my silkies in 3 weeks!!!

Today, we got 3 eggs from our 4 hens... That seems to be the typical number lately.

I think we've been getting an egg a day from our Blue Andalusian hen since she started laying at the end of April. She's as regular as clockwork! Our other BA hen used to lay an egg a day, also... until she got sick in mid August. (We just lost her last week.)

The other 2 eggs came from our 3 Blue Orpington hens, who seem to lay anywhere from an egg a day to an egg every other day. We can always tell when the large, black hen lays, though, because her eggs are extra large!

So that's 3 eggs out of 18 twenty-weekers.

Hmmmm I got 22 eggs out of 24 hens and found a nest of 10 duck eggs. LOL
