How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Teflon coating? Going to have to check on that.....!
Only 6 eggs today but we had a lot of commotion here today.
Husbands cousin from the city came up and wanted fresh eggs for breakfast for him mad 2 others and really couldn't understand why the girls weren't laying on his command. He didn't really want to eat yesterday's eggs! He was making me crazy!

Turns out my EE has a nest underneath the old meat bird coop. She flies over the fence, goes around the back and lays an egg, then there is a hole to get back into the pen. At least I know where she is laying now!

Got 2yesterday...2 today so far...but ruby was trying to get on it all morning but wouldn't stay still. I'm going to go check in a few, been sick as a dog for two days.....ggggrrrrrr! But they are starting to lay again...YAY!!!!!!

7/11 not 100% but still good as far as we are concerned! The whole family is enjoying the chickens...nephew, great nephews and my sister who doesn't even eat eggs, ( when she does have the occasional hard boiled she throws away the yolk, what kind of person does that!?).

My girls turned 27 weeks old this past weekend. We've had three days in the last two weeks with 9 eggs out of 9. Today we had 8 out of 9. Most eggs are medium size (49-55 grams) with one of the EE/Ameraucanas consistently laying a large eggs. How long before I can expect "full sized" eggs from my girl?
