The blues are feed store Ideal Poultry "Ameraucanas" (EE), the green is a barnyard mix. My legbars aren't laying. :/

I am sorry to hear that you lost one of your hens. Was it the weather? That is some cold weather. I pray for you and your flock. God bless you. Be encouraged.

I'm not sure how she died she was under the coop laying in the straw. I have plastic around the bottom of the coop to keep out the wind and snow and she seemed fine the night before. She was a Light Brahma so she was supposed to be very cold hearty. I disposed of her body in the outdoor wood stove. I'm keeping an eye on the rest to see if I notice anything wrong.
