9 out of 12 yesterday but only 5 out of 12 so far today. It's still early though. My poor beautiful wacky rooster has frostbite on one of the tips of his comb. I feel so bad!!

Put vasaline (petroleum jelly) on his comb and wattles and it will protect them from the cold. Its worked on my cockerel.

quite warm here in england about 10 degress celsius. 10 eggs today from ducks and chucks out of 28

We just started with 4 Isa Browns. They are laying around 14-18 eggs a week (for all of them). I've been wondering if we need to get a few more. Our pen is big enough to hold more but probably need to think about this. Do you let your's our to pick around the yard? I have been letting mind out for about an hr each day.

I have 4 ISA browns and they are supposed to be production birds but they don't lay every day so that seem s to be okay. Mine lay about that much. It does help when you let them free range.
