7/10 + Scout. At least they're consistent....kinda sorta! Haven't had any more of those "2/10 + Scout" days in quite awhile now. Got up to 62 degrees here again. Wow!! Mid February in Northern Wyoming - whodda thunk?

It's crazy! I wore sandals today....yea.....sandals..........

12 today, 1 was broken, so I fed it back to the hens.

Can you folks please enlighten me. When you post an egg count, as above. What does the series of 3 numbers mean? Is it 20 eggs out of 25 possible layers, with 5 roosters? or 5 non-layers?

Yesterday I got 10/13/15

Today when I checked the morning delivery, I found an egg just bigger than a quarter, so my first thought was my two youngest, which are Frizzles, are now laying. When I checked my video, I only saw my white Leghorn in that nest. I did miss some earlier footage though.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one with chicken spy cameras! LOL

yep, it made it to 18 today 4F w/ wind chill factor. I sure hope so.
---side note--- just got back from TSC Chick Days start here FEB 23rd.

Woot Woot...warm weather a coming!!!

We have Big R, and the chicks are coming on the 18th! One second I say that I am downsizing, the next second I'm planning hatches and can't wait to see what the feed store is getting in for chicks.....I think I may be driving my husband crazy........

1 duck egg.
Only my duck has been laying consistently. Maybe 14 new babies will help change that. Happy Valentines Day, everyone!
