I have 17 dozen eggs in my fridge! So I boiled and peeled 5 dozen for my hens this evening, they will get that treat in the morning! I'm Drowning in eggs!!!

So was I until DH came home for a visit. Now I have about 3 dzn. Phew. Egg salad and deviled eggs for a few day too.

Can't remember if I posted this photo or not. I'm getting 3 a day Outta 8 layers. Two EEs and a red star. My wyandottes and barred rocks are the free loaders.

3 straight days of 9/12 even with the temp bottoming out at -21° overnight. It was the first time is got below zero IN the coop also. They seem unfazed.
