Doesn't he? It's twin day! We culled ours at 6 months, and it was hard to do because he was drop dead gorgeous, Scout is going to be Mr. Handsome! Don't worry the hens will be swooning, babying him, and helping him out of all of his mishaps!Oh my word! He does look like Scout! Scout will be 4 months old on Saturday. No, no birthday cake - he'd just manage to find a way to burn himself on the candles or choke on the frosting. <sigh>
8/10 today. Gonna be hard to type that without adding the +Scout.![]()
That is awesome! You are doing good, not very many kids know where their food comes from! Your's will know, and appreciate good wholesome homegrown food!Thanks![]()
I grew up with my dads parents (Nana and Papa) owning a working horse far... Once I had a place of my own I made the choice to raise my kids with the same love for home grow things... We are prepping our ground in the next few weeks for our veggie garden and my daughter (7) has asked to plant a row for herself...
. She said she wants to grow a 'bean soup' mix like in a book she read lol... I'll let her do it and she will have her home grown soup...![]()
