I have 4 hens and up until this week only 2 have been laying. A GLW and my Dominique. I have 2 Sussex (one red and one buff), they are 32 weeks and 27 weeks old. This week I saw some different looking eggs in the nest. I couldn't tell which one had started laying, but I assumed it was the Red Sussex. Well today I had 4 egg!!!!! That means everyone is laying. I thought for sure I would have to wait until spring for that last hen to lay. What a great Christmas present. They all got a little extra cracked corn today.

Another 2/3 day for me. I have a Buff Cochin that has yet to lay.

7 hens 3 or 4 eggs a day the last couple of weeks. 2 so far today.

The total for last week was 37 eggs. Not bad in freezing temps!
