How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I've gotten 4 eggs from 5 girls for the last 3 days. They don't seem to be slowing down now that it's winter but we don't mind!

10 out of 13 hens, in 30 degree weather on the shortest day of the year. I credit this awesome mash we found... they never lay this good on Fleet Farm crumbles.

18 from my 19 Gold Comets!!! Way to go, Gals!!! We caught that ice/snow storm that passed through the Carolinas over the weekend. Now it's just wet and sloppy. Except for inside out converted carport run. The Gals have nice and dry tootsies and are happy chickens. And Happy Chickens come from Statesville, North Carolina!!!

We are now in winter today only reached about 64f that's about a 30 degree drop from two weeks ago. But not had any drop in eggs.

9/23 'bout normal here lately. Now that the days will be gaining in light hours and my older hens are about half way through with their molt, it should'nt be very long that production will pick up a great deal.
