First Flock (hatched late 4/14): 4/17

Coop Med, Where the Hen Party Never Ends (hatched 24/08/15): 11/15

Gifted hens (hatch date unknown): 1/2

Coop Med eggs are getting larger, and today I got my third green egg! I only know for certain that Sweet Cheeks and the Brown Leghorn (unnamed as yet) are laying but I suspect they all are now.

I did find two when I went out for final door shut about 9:30 last night so those plus today would bring to 12/14, I finally was able to get the stall pellets and two bales of shavings down outside in the run used last of what I had this morning inside.

I think I have figured out why mine have been producing so bad. I need to get that walkway done so they can go outside. They are bored

Well... one RIR egg, two buff Orpington, two speckled Sussex gathered today
The Golden Compines and Dominique hens are on a winter vacation break

A giant cochin layed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were due to start laying last July, and finally came through!

Only one egg all day, but

It and any of it's future 'sisters' (

) will be participating in the Easter HAL!

4 eggs + what the crows got

2 eggs from the control group

2 eggs from the free range chickens

I caught the crows flying away with a couple of eggs at different times of the day but that would have made it 4 known from the free ranging chickens

Temp 77F degrees for the day with scattered clouds and windy

Thanks for the input.
I gave them honey and garlic oil this morning cos was able to search old posts in this byc network and learnt that it was a fungal infection from the feed molds or a kind of liver/kidney infection. So anti-toxins could help get them back on their feets. Garlic, vegitables, honey, veniger and some pumpkin would help too. I couldn't get my hands on any anti-toxin so I'll start with this option of garlic and honey with some cider/veniger.
Eggs count: 38/41 and 12/17 for today.
