2/6 yesterday and today 1/6... Hey just a quick question... I brought silverbeet today and was wondering for one is it good for them and two how would you give it to them. Would you just hang it in there coop or chop it up???

I found one of the two Khaki Campbell ducks that have been missing for two weeks now but after watching the one girl I found her nest after she walded back to it and I counted 8 eggs in her nest

Temp for the day was only 100F degrees with some over cast sky's all day and 20 MPH winds so thank you to all who sent the strange weather .

Saturday 3 for 3
Sunday 1 for 3. Both of my mixed girls took the lords day off, but not that leghorn. Daisy is an egg laying machine

Wednesday. 3 for 3

Friday 2 for 3. No egg ftom Patsy

Feeling heart broken.... This morning I had 12 eggs ready to hatch under momma hen.... About 30 mins ago I go out to collect eggs and find an egg that at first I thought was zipping but the poor thing looks like it was almost crushed. Still alive but doubtful of the outcome... And only 5 eggs under hen... I've lost 6 eggs in less than a few hours. It sounds like a snake attack on my nest. The surviving eggs and poor chick are now in my incubator for final hatch. I'm probably not putting them back until they get bigger.
