How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Another 4/4 today.

It has now been 38 days since our first girl started laying, with the other 3 then following. We have collected 73 eggs as of today

We got 15 yesterday. Our younger hens are just coming into laying, so between the colder weather and Daylight Savings Time, I am happy with a dozen a day. :)

got that right major bargain
I want to ask you...when can we start using the eggs from the girls in quarantine? They've been for 2 full wks now, 13eggs from 2 of the 3. Do I have to test the eggs before using them somehow? We got them from the poultry show on the 12th.

I would would think it would be safe to integrate them into the rest of flock now
if there is no signs of illness it is close to a month
thank you. One of the golden laced Wyandottes has been congested since bringing her home-on VetRx. They came from warm GA so it's an adjustment. OK so what to do about testing the eggs? We've held them apart, we've got 13 now. Should we or do we have to test them before adding to our basket each day? Since they are from different flock.
